Looking for a Mile building, Competent Crew, or Deckhand position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Mile building (I've got my ICC), Competent Crew, Deckhand or Sailing instructor. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Looking to build up my mileage and experience and work towards higher Yachtmaster qualifications. I also have a full-time job as an engineer but I can often work remotely, flexibly, or take extended periods off work.
I'm keen to learn more about maintaining a vessel and general knowledge around yachts. I'm also especially interested in racing opportunities and other opportunities to improve my sailing skills.
Currently taking time off work in June/July around the med. I've been sailing various dinghies for almost 20 years and sailing yachts in small doses. I'm currently skippering a double handed racing series in a 30ft on the west of Scotland but looking to build up my experience in different conditions, locations, and yachts.
