Ocean enthusiast on the search for women crew to support for few months up from January 2027
Ahoi, I am Amelie - half human half fish!
As a nomad with a M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences I am drifting from ocean to ocean. I do everything except sitting in front of a laptop or in a lab. Lately I spent time on water working as marine biologist on whale watching boats in Cape Verde, mostly you find me underwater tho. I earned money leading snorkeling expeditions in my local water body - the Baltic sea and guiding dives in the Caribbean. Besides the ocean, my biggest passion are birds. I currently work as camp leader in a unique reintroduction project of an once extinct bird species, living the simple life in a field camp.
I hold much love for sailing and started deepening my skills last year while getting my power boat license and a coastal sailing license. In Kiel fjord I did a lot of dingy sailing and I was able to sail from Germany to Sweden already. I love learning new skills and getting experience in yacht sailing and want to spend up to 6 months sailing in 2027. An experienced female crew would be the ideal space for me to learn and contribute- I am a hard worker, easy going and people usually enjoy my company.
I would love to hear from you if you could see me in your team. I can cook, clean, do night shifts and hard things, spot all the marine mammals and birds and I am full of life and love for nature.
