Looking for a Cook/Stew, or Deckhand position
Ocean-oriented hospitality and wellness professional from South Africa with a strong connection to coastal living, community-based environments and hands-on learning. Over the past several years I’ve lived and worked in remote coastal areas along the Wild Coast of South Africa, contributing to backpackers, hospitality spaces and ocean-based experiences.
My background includes guest relations, lodge operations, group coordination, coastal foraging experiences, culinary work, yoga teaching and community-oriented living. I’m physically active, adaptable, easy to work with and comfortable in dynamic outdoor environments. I grew up around water, have strong ocean confidence, competitive swimming experience, surfing background and PADI Open Water certification.
I’m especially drawn to slower, meaningful sailing experiences connected to nature, culture, storytelling and exploration. I can also contribute through cooking, hospitality, yoga and meditation, photography/videography and general onboard support where needed.
