Looking for a 3rd Engineer, 2nd Engineer or Deckhand position
I am writing to express my interest for deck/engineer positions on motor yachts. I am highly motivated after completing my qualifications at UKSA on the Isle of Wight and eager to put my range of newly learnt knowledge into practice. I am currently studying for my AEC2, which I should achieve on 6th June 2026. I would be seeking work as a deckhand where I could utilise my engineering skills, hoping to end up in the engine room.
I am particularly drawn to working in Europe for the Mediterranean Season, where the maritime industry has a strong reputation for professionalism and high standards. Come the end of the season I would be looking to find work in the USA, the Caribbean or Australia and surrounding areas. I enjoy problem solving and feel a great sense of accomplishment when I am able to fix something or get something to a presentable standard. I am available for work from the 8th of June.
