Hello! My name is Mary. I am a dedicated & competent sailor holding an RYA Coastal Yachtmaster certificate, with all 3,600 nautical miles logged strictly on sailing vessels across ocean, offshore and inland waters. I bring a solid foundational background from 6 months of intensive, formal training at Hamble School of Yachting in the UK.
Experience with different watch dynamics under sail ensures sharp watchkeeping and seamless handovers, whether sailing double-handed or as part of a larger crew. Living and working in close quarters has taught me to always respect and consider the thoughts/concerns of others. I gladly contribute to all tasks, prioritize vessel & crew safety, maintain a tidy boat, and adapt easily to the skipper’s preferred sailing routines.
