Looking for new adventures in the Carribean/ Pacific
Me and my partner are currently travelling the world open end on a small budget - so far with backpacks and a tent, by foot, bus or hitchhiking. We would love to extend our adventure to the seas! Therefore we would love to learn more about sailing. We don't have experiences with sailing yet (only joined friends on rivers and lakes), but are highly motivated and willing to learn. We have been volunteers in different projects and worked in different fields and teams, which means we could get to meet lots of different kinds of people. So we are both very adaptable, open and quick to learn. We would love to continue doing so, learning new skills, experiencing cultures, nature and food around the world. I am a psychologist, Gregor is a biologist, we are mostly organised, positive, with good cooking skills, lots of knowledge about nature and animals (especially birds) and a history of DIY/building stuff with wood and different materials (eg basket weaving, building clay houses), which might or might not be useful on a boat. We are currently in Brazil, and would ideally join a boat from South or Central America. We are open to different lengths and destinations, and curious to explore the possibilities!
