Experienced captain seeking Atlantic crossing crew position
Experienced commercial captain available-las palmas to Caribbean.37 years offshore commercial fishing experience as captain of large steel vessels over 100ft.Experienced in navigation watchstanding marine electronics weather engineering maintenance towing crew management safety and cooking.I have extensive offshore and heavy weather experience.I am new to sailing and looking to learn from an experienced sailing captain while bringing decades of offshore seamanship and practical experience to the crew.I will be in las palmas,Gran Canaria at the end of October 2026 and im seeking a canary island to Caribbean crossing.I can assist as watchstander mate engineer cook or general crew and willing to help wherever needed.Im an volunteering my time and experience and not looking for paid employment.I am not looking to purchase a berth or pay for passage.Reliable safety conscious easy to live with non smoker sober and accustomed to extended offshore life
