Professional Spanish Captain (PPER) and nautical instructor with 30,000+ NM of sailing experience and three Atlantic crossings, including one as Captain of a 65 ft sailing yacht.
Experienced in private and charter yachts, monohulls and catamarans, bluewater passages, deliveries, yacht preparation, refit and hands-on maintenance. Strong background in navigation, passage planning, safety, yacht systems and crew management.
I am particularly interested in Captain/Skipper positions on sailing yachts and catamarans, including Atlantic crossings and longer-term programmes continuing into the Caribbean season. Available for yacht preparation in Europe, the Mediterranean or Canary Islands prior to departure, and for full-season continuity in the Caribbean.
Valid STCW, GMDSS General Operator and Spanish professional PPER certification. Available immediately and worldwide.
