Experienced and reliable sailing crew with 10,000+ nautical miles, strong navigation and watch-keeping experience, and a practical approach to life at sea.
I'm confident on the helm and comfortable standing watches, navigating and handling boats in a range of conditions. I'm also very hands-on and good at troubleshooting and repairing things when they inevitably go wrong during a voyage. I enjoy working things out and getting the job done rather than waiting for someone else to fix it.
Easy-going, adaptable and respectful of the skipper and other crew, I’m happy to fit in and get on with whatever needs doing. I take initiative with cleaning, provisioning and keeping the boat organised, and I enjoy cooking good-quality meals for the crew.
I’m dependable on watch, a good listener and generally not one to talk unnecessarily. I enjoy a laugh, meeting people and exploring new places, and I’m equally comfortable getting stuck into the work or simply enjoying the sailing.

Dov is one of those people you are genuinely happy to have on board. He is confident at the helm, with strong navigation and boat-handling skills, but is equally happy getting his hands dirty when something needs attention or finding a creative solution when things do not go to plan. He takes the initiative in everything that keeps life on board running smoothly, from organising provisions and preparing great meals to keeping the boat clean and tidy. Beyond sailing, he is always keen to explore new places and up for the next adventure. I really enjoyed sailing with Dov and hope we will sail together again!
