Looking for Captain/Mate/Deckhand or Delivery crew positions
Raised on a marina, I developed a lifelong passion for yachting and have since accumulated over 6 years' experience and 18,000+ sea miles. I progressed from luxury catamaran crew to becoming the youngest captain in company history, consistently delivering over 500 trips serving close to 4000 guests.
My experience includes serving as First Mate & then Captain on a private 66ft motor yacht, overseeing vessel operations, maintenance, crew leadership, and contractor management. More recently, I have completed my first transatlantic delivery, Mediterranean deliveries, and worked aboard a luxury charter superyacht, preparing the vessel to a high standard and successfully delivering charter operations.
I hold a British passport and EU permanent residency (schengen equivalent) I also hold a EU driving licence, and I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I am ideally looking for Captain or Mate position ideally on a catamaran however anything goes.
Commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Coastal skipper with over 5 years of hands-on experience across private and charter operations on luxury sailing catamarans and motor yachts. Currently seeking new opportunities, ideally on a sailing catamaran, whether private or charter, although I am open to a wide variety of roles. I am also actively involved in yacht deliveries and keen to continue building experience in that area.
I will shortly be upgrading to Yachtmaster Offshore and then Ocean, with both my qualifying passage and theory already completed.
Experience includes:
* 4 full charter seasons:
* 2 seasons as crew on luxury catamarans and motor yachts
* 2 seasons as skipper on luxury catamarans and motor yachts
* 2 years part-time crew aboard a Sunseeker Manhattan 66
* 1 year as captain/manager of a Sunseeker Manhattan 66, overseeing maintenance, presentation, logistics, and overall readiness while the yacht was listed for sale, contributing to its successful £2M sale
* Completed a transatlantic delivery as First Mate from Gran Canaria to Guadeloupe
* Completed a Mediterranean delivery from Les Sables-d’Olonne to Sicily
Confident handling guests, maintenance, passages, deliveries, and day-to-day vessel operations. Hard-working, adaptable, and comfortable taking responsibility both independently and as part of a team.
