German Backpacker Looking for a Panama → Colombia Passage | Diver & Motivated Crew
Hi everyone,
I’m a 24-year-old German backpacker currently traveling through Panama and looking for a sailing passage to Colombia in the coming weeks.
While I don’t have formal sailing qualifications, I have some practical experience from sailing with my father, who is a licensed skipper. I’ve participated in four week-long sailing trips and helped with daily boat operations, sailing maneuvers, docking, navigation, cleaning and general tasks on board.
I’m also an SSI Open Water diver, an experienced freediver, physically fit, easy-going and happy to contribute wherever needed. I’m not looking for a free ride and fully understand that being crew means helping with watches, cooking, cleaning, maintenance and whatever else is required.
I’m flexible with dates and departure locations in Panama and would love to gain more sailing experience while crossing to Colombia.
Feel free to contact me if you think I could be a good fit for your crew.
Fair winds!
Mattis
